The technology in the office is outstanding and the atmosphere is tasteful and warm. They provide warm neck pillows, paraffin treatments for your hands, blankets, and tv's on the ceiling. Honestly, I love getting my hygiene treatments. But best of all, Dr. Ghatnekar is so professional and I never feel pressured to get radical treatments such as crowns. He will save your tooth if it's at all possible which is all-around better for the patient. I really fell like he has my best interests in mind. This is so refreshing, especially in these very tough economic times.

"Excellent dentist and dental staff When my dentist sold his practice I was distraught for his circumstances and the thought of a "finding a new dentist after 20+ years". I trusted Dr. Feld, my former dentist thoroughly. In loyalty to him and his great staff, I stayed with the new dentist, Dr. Ghatnekar who took over his practice. Now, I am very happy I did. He is very sensitive to my needs especially since I have gotten older-going to the dentist is more stressful than it use to be for me and they are excellent. Our office gives complimentary examinations, x-rays and cleanings to members of various Olympic teams including water polo, bobsled, cycling, wrestling, swim, badminton, rowing and softball. Think Pink! We support the American Cancer Society’s Fight Against Breast Cancer. As a Team, we participated in the Susan G. Komen 5K Walk/Run in Newport Beach on September 27th, 2009. We contributed both monetarily and by slogging (slow jogging) and walking our ways to the finish line. We hope to make this an annual Team event.

Dr. Feld also participated in our Dental Distributor’s efforts to support Breast Cancer Research by buying “Pink” products for our office. You may have noticed our pink suction tips or other pink products during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our distributor then donates a percentage of these sales directly to the American Cancer Society.

Smile Big! “Smiles for Life” and “Teammates for Kids” both contribute to children all across America who have physical disabilities. Half of our support goes to these Teams, and half goes to a Local Children’s Charity of our choice. Every other year we offer whitening trays and bleaching materials to our patients in exchange for a donation to “Smiles For Life”. Discus Dental donates all of the bleaching materials, and our office donates the whitening trays so that 100% of your payment goes directly to these children’s charities. Watch for our announcement on when you can help the children through our office, and benefit with whiter teeth for yourself or as a gift to a friend.

We also support the “2nd Harvest Food Bank of Orange County”, the “Indian Christian Ministry” through Vineyard Community Church and a primary school in Africa at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. We donate the money we collect from our Recycle efforts to this children’s school which Dr. Feld has visited and of which he is an official sponsor.
